About
I’m a multi-disciplinary writer currently working on the Samsung account at Razorfish. I mainly contribute to US-facing content for the mobile phones and computing LOBs, as well as other web-centric campaigns. I’ve worked on the launch of Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Book3 line.
You may have seen some of my previous creative on the Dash line of kitchen electrics (available in Target, WalMart, and Bed Bath and Beyond), where I started as the sole copywriter across print, web, email, and social and crafted the brand’s voice over nearly three years.
I have a background in narrative fiction across prose, screen, and playwriting, and hold an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch. My work has advanced at contests including BlueCat, Final Draft, and Austin Film Festival.
In 2014-2015, I studied sketch comedy writing at UCB New York after moving to the city for the Editorial Fellowship at BuzzFeed. My humor has since been published in McSweeney’s, Reductress, The Offing, Electric Literature, and The New Yorker.
I’m originally from Cortland, New York, one of the northernmost counties in rural Appalachia. My undergrad degree is a BS in Biology and Public Policy from Duke University, where I worked as a lab assistant in a cell biology lab and took additional coursework in ethics at Oxford.
I currently live in Los Angeles with my partner, the jazz musician Michael Mayo.
